The WASH IT application, created by Over Cloud, is the fruit of collaboration with ingenuity. It is not easy to find a market gap, and even harder to use it efficiently. WASH IT is a help for motorists, and everyone who uses the car has to wash it sometimes. In the app you will find the largest car wash database from all over Poland, with detailed data on the car wash offer and equipment. The feedback system allows you to choose the best one in the area, and the navigation makes it easy to get to. From the interview you will learn why the application has a huge advantage over standard navigation, how it was created and what is behind its phenomenon.
What is the genesis of Wash It? What pushed you to create this application?
I am a huge fan of the automotive industry and an absolute freak in terms of car cleanliness. Often times, my annoyance was at its peak when I couldn’t find a place to get the car in order. At some point, I started to wonder how to collect all car washes in the country in one place, and how to describe their functionalities. This is how the idea was born.
Where did this idea come from, since such information can be found in most internet search engines?

It seems simple to enter “car wash” in the search engine or maps, but what next? More and more car washes appear in the search results, but do we know anything more about them apart from their address data or telephone number?
Apart from the moto-freak, I’m also an inaccurate gadget freak. I use my phone wherever I can, also for payments. Following this path, I started looking for information whether you can pay by card at a given car wash? If not, is it possible to pay in cash or is there a change machine on the premises of the car wash? Unfortunately, by entering these questions into the search engine, I only lost a lot of time, comments and opinions – if they were – did not contain what I expected.
Wash It has become the solution to these problems – all the information I need is within the reach of my finger and the smartphone screen.
It’s actually quite a crazy but innovative approach to the subject! It is not, however, that when living in a given town, we base our knowledge on local opinions about specific car washes? Isn’t the app redundant in such cases?
Living in a medium or large city with several dozen car washes, the situation is very dynamic. In addition, I happened to have this “favorite car wash”, which after a while suddenly turned out to be my worst enemy!
Does this apply to all car wash variants? Contactless, manual, automatic?
Definitely yes! Each of these variants has its pros and cons, and is also prone to loss of quality. This also applies to a car wash, where the responsibility for washing is the responsibility of a person working in a given place and pampering the varnish by hand. However, is such information – about the quality of washing or service available directly on the Internet? It is also worth including such information in the application
Who is Wash It really for? We are talking about automotive fans, but is this the only target group of recipients?
When talking to friends working in various industries, the argument of sales representatives, circulating around the country and visiting their customers, was often heard. First of all, when representing a company, it is worth having a clean car, and it is difficult to know all car washes in Poland.
Secondly – in many companies there are so-called quick audits, where the supervisor or another designated person assesses, among others, just the cleanliness of the car. What is a busy sales representative somewhere in Poland supposed to do to wash a car as soon as possible, closest to himself, and the worst – if at a car wash at a specific gas station? Internet search engine again? It turns out that in order to meet all these requirements, the trader is often unable to temporarily clean the car up before the scheduled audit. In Wash It, introducing filters, finding the car wash closest to us, and clicking through opinions is literally a few seconds.
Another example may include people using car or car rental “for the minute” – the so-called carsharing. Usually these are people who do not have knowledge about a car wash, and treat the car as a means of transport from point A to point B. In the car rental records, in the vast majority of cases, there are paragraphs about the need to return the car to the rental company in an almost perfect visual condition in terms of cleanliness. Usually, no one rents a car with a huge spare time, so before returning it needs to quickly and even “on the way” to get to a place where he can clean the car according to specific preferences and methods. This can save you from penalties for returning a “dirty” car.
Only advantages, but how much does this “time saving” cost?

We already know what Wash It was created for. Where did the name come from, because the association with rearranging letters is probably not accidental?
Definitely a valid point, but we will leave the associations to our users. Our “mascot” in the form of a pigeon is also no coincidence.
